Dr.P.P. Job was born in India in 1945 in the state of Kerala in southern India. He was raised in a poor but loving Christian environment, and has witnessed many miracles and the faithfulness of God from a very young age. His beloved mother was a strong believer and raised Job to believe he could accomplish anything through the power of God. This influence has guided Dr. Job all throughout his life and ministry, and God has kept him through many trials and life threatening experiences. Today he is a dynamic evangelist who has preached in over 87 nations around the world.

Dr. Job has been preaching and ministering to the poorest of the poor in India for over 40 years. In June of 1999, his youngest son, Michael, a 21 year old medical student, was brutally killed by fanatical Hindus because of Dr. Job’s Christian activities. At his son’s funeral, Dr. Job proclaimed, “[Losing my son] was like having my right arm cut off. But I will still serve God with my left arm.” Today Dr. Job continues his work around the world and actively assists Christians who are persecuted for their faith.

Dr. Job started The Michael Job Center for Orphan Girls in Coimbatore India in 2001. As a tribute to his son, and as a testimony of what God can accomplish through great tragedy, the Center now houses hundreds of precious girls who have sufffered from persecution. The Center continues to grow and currently sits on 50 acres of land, has a school, housing, dining hall, a large chapel, a B.A, College, a University, farm animals, coconut trees, and a large soccer stadium.

The unique aspect of faith and perseverance in the midst of tragedy has made Dr. Job’s ministry one of powerful effectiveness. His success and longevity he contributes only to God’s abundant grace and power.
